Join me on my delicious journey revisiting American home cooking in the era before convenience foods became popular (1919 to 1955), as I bake and cook from old cookbooks and recipe cards of home cooks purchased at estate sales in Akron, Ohio, and other exotic locations.

World's Most Accurate Pie Chart
A little fun for Friday afternoon. (Amusement courtesy of George Takei.)
Susan, this is really making the rounds! Today it was shared on the Facebook page of a local bakery here in Southern Illinois! (I did leave them a comment to let them know from where it came - crediting sources is a big pet peeve of mine.)
Oh,Dawn, how I wish this was my original. I got it from George Takei's Facebook page (and thought the credit would transfer, but it obviously didn't). But thanks for even thinking that I'm that creative (and for catching the omission, which I'll correct in a minute.)
Love it! I will definitely be sharing this with my husband - who teaches statistics - and letting him know this is a REAL pie chart!

DeleteI loathe statistics...but I love this pie chart! Yummy! :)
ReplyDeleteStatistics is what finally made me drop out of graduate school! Thanks for posting -- I plan to visit your bakery soon (now that I know about it)!
